RV Country goes back to a time of steam engines for an Eggstraordinary Egg Hunt

Have we got a treat for you! Imagine a journey back to a simpler time... a time of steam trains. Now imagine the laughter and joy of little ones as they scatter through the majestic redwood forest looking for chocolate candy eggs left behind by the Easter Bunny.

Travel to ‘Roaring Camp Railroads’, and that’s just what you’ll get! Known as the ‘Eggstraordinary Egg Hunt’ - Kids take the steam train to Bear Mountain to hunt for the precious eggs and win prizes. There are also special Easter crafts and games for families and kids.

This year the event takes place on Saturday, April 23 & Sunday, April 24 (Easter Sunday). Children will need a train ticket to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt. In the event of rain, train cars and Easter Egg Hunt will be under cover. You can purchase the tickets online in advance and view the schedule for the trains by visiting the Roaring Camp Railroads website.
