Paul Evert's RV attends the 48th Annual National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky

If you're in or around the RV industry for long, you'll quickly find out how big of a deal the Annual National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Kentucky is, this year having celebrated it's 48th year. Having spent well over 23 plus years working at Paul Evert's RV Country, I wouldn't miss this show for the world! In fact, I've learned so much and saw so many familiar faces, it's almost impossible to compress these three whirlwind days into a small post, but I'm going to try! Upon reflection a few key things come to mind that I'm excited to share with you!

The new A.C.E. Motorhome by Thor Industries

  • First and foremost is the A.C.E. by Thor Motor Coach. It has a story to tell and after learning about all the features and functionality is has to offer, I knew Paul Evert's RV Country had to have it and that our customers will want it as well! From a "Mud Room" where you can store your dirty shoes to the "Pet-Link" (an exterior tie down for your pets) and "Kibble Station" (an integrated FDA approved food bowl) or a window on the passenger side floor line to give the drive enhanced vision, it's seems like they've thought of everything! Plus, it comes with an overhead electric bed that can be used even while driving similar to a Class C body style. We've placed our orders and can't wait to tell you when they get here! Here is what the industry is saying about the A.C.E.

The Serrano is changing the way people look at motorhomes
Astoria is the diesel pusher with everything at the right price

  • Actually, Thor Motor Coach had a few things that caught my eye. We also took on the diesel pusher, Astoria and the Serrano which is unlike anything we've carried at Paul Evert's RV before. The Serrano is a short 31'-33' low profile diesel class A that gets MEGA miles per gallon!

  • You know, Paul Evert's RV Country partnered with Keystone nearly a decade ago and we couldn't be happier! We're honored to continue our relationship with one of the most forward thinking and innovative fifth wheel, travel trailer, and toy hauler manufacturers in the RV industry! Just a few notes of things to come are new floorplans, amenities, front caps and rooflines, particularly on the Montana and Outback models. Montana will soon be offering a "Big Sky" package which includes 6 point electric jacks, full body paint, larger tires and a rounded shower. Also, the Raptor (Keystone's toy hauler model) will soon feature keyless entry, touchscreen stereos, central vacuum, LED lighting, and the coolest thing - a "Tailgate Package"!

I feel like I've mentioned too much and I've only covered two things! I will just say one more thing: The RV lifestyle isn't just for our customers, we live and love it as well! Even as dealers and vendors, we enjoy the camaraderie of traveling, seeing old friends, making new ones, and socializing. Attending these functions is energizing and exciting and only makes me believe more strongly in such an awesome lifestyle and industry. I take great pride in making new contacts, finding the latest and greatest products, and being able to offer our customers the most varied and innovative selection of motorized and towable recreational vehicles that I possibly can.

If you have any questions or want to know more, we're eager to talk about our trip so shoot us an email or call us or just stop by!

We look forward to it!

2007 Country Coach gets modernized!

Have you ever walked into a motorhome and had a flashback from a certain decade? You know, the oranges and greens from the 70's, the pinks and blues from the 80's, etc?!  While that may be an extreme example, we have noticed ourselves thinking: "Some coaches have so much potential if they were just freshened up a bit!"

A few months ago we purchased a 45' 2007 Country Coach, but it just seemed bland inside, and we all know coaches like this can really knock your socks off!

We called Judee Malanca Designs to help us narrow down a few key things we could do to make this diesel pusher a showpiece! She suggested cabinetry glazing, new valances, new carpet, new cabinetry knobs & handles, a new bedspread and some pretty decorations would do the trick.

Boy was she right! Take a look at what a small amount of money and a vision can do for modernizing your RV!

Whether you do it yourself or want Paul Evert's RV to help, we'd love to hear from you about your own experiences in coach remodeling.

To help get you started, we thought we’d share with you how our sales manager Julien Castillo loves to RV. He has a huge group of friends who also love it and they go to many functions in California.

They especially love to tailgate at Raider games. Looks like quite the party! He recently took a Monaco Diplomat and was the envy of everyone who walked by in the rain while he had tents and awnings and flat screen TV’s.

Often, they love to capitalize on how close the Pismo sand dunes are to Fresno. When they go, his little daughter’s favorite spot to hang out is in this Fifth Wheel Toy Haulers entry door, as you can see! His kids bring their quads and race around in the sand and his friends BBQ over an open campfire, but still have someplace warm to sleep. One year they even brought and deep fried a turkey for Thanksgiving out there!

Don’t forget to join our virtual family on Facebook and you can also follow us on Twitter. See you soon!

Replace your RV vent lids - Do it right the first time.

As with any vehicle, RV's require maintenance. If you have owned your motorhome, fifth wheel, or travel trailer for a while, chances are you've had to or soon should replace your vent covers.

The Paul Evert's RV Parts & Accessory Department recommends you replace them every two years. In fact, these vent covers are our most commonly sold part! However, we find that quite a few of our customers drive all the way here, only to realize they don't know what type of hinge their vent lid uses! They then have to drive home, inspect, and make a second trip to complete their purchase.

We hope the handy chart below will help you to know what you are looking for. Then, whether you choose to call in or come down here, we can make purchasing these necessary items much simpler and quicker for you!
Our parts department can be reached at 559-486-1000 or you can request parts via our easy online form at www.rvcountry.com.

Parts & Accessories Dept Hours

2nd Annual Family Reunion A Success!

Gosh, we sure had a great time this past weekend! Lots of old friends and plenty of new ones stopped by and it was great to see/meet you all! We just can't thank you enough for your support!

Things went so well, even mother nature granted us cooler weather and a breeze. This allowed people to sit out on the patio, nibble on sandwiches and cookies and chips, and listen to some good music.

For those of you who couldn't make it out, Johnny Goodrum has a wonderful voice. He normally serenades us when we are down in Quartzsite and Parker, but for special occasions he makes a trip up here to Fresno. Thank you Johnny!

We hope to have more events like this over the course of the year, so stay tuned.

National Stats rate Keystone Cougar #1

Selection. Selection! Selection?

If you've ever researched purchasing an RV, chances are you came across DOZENS of different RV manufacturers. That's when the questions start: Which one do we choose? Which one is better? Which one has the best warranty? What about dependability and quality? It's easy for your eyes to cross and your head to start hurting, isn't it?

That's where we come in. As a dealer, Paul Evert's RV Country tries to do some of the work for you. We've checked them all out, narrowed that overwhelming list down to the best of the best, and pride ourselves on having a quality selection of the best built, top rated motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers, and tent trailers available!

When Keystone RV came onto the market in 1996, we knew they were going someplace special and that's why we signed up to carry just about every Fifth Wheel, Travel trailer, and toy hauler model they make! Just recently, the national statistics have shown one of those models rising to the top of the list - The Cougar by Keystone!

  • The Keystone Cougar is now the #1 selling model among all other towable recreational vehicles!
  • The Keystone Cougar has been and still is the #1 selling mid-profile fifth wheel for 9 straight years!
  • The Keystone Cougar has been and still is the #1 selling fiberglass product for 2 1/2 years!
WOW those are some impressive numbers! Lucky for you, we have several different floorplans of both the Cougar fifth wheel and Cougar travel trailer in stock, many of which are half-ton towable! Visit our website to check them out or stop by anytime to see for yourself!
